And he even acted like this was normal. God that's a good weather reporter.
People from Bahariterra have 7 of these guys
Yes
It is normal tf do you mean
@Dalmain J , this dude is WAY better than he.
That’s not a glitch. That’s just a normal day in Arizona.
You mean in Bahariterra
As an Arizonian basically
You are 100% correct because I was born in Arizona lol
actually kinda cold
This fella is an expert at rolling with whatever comes his way. Didn't miss a beat. Love it!
Hello from Bahariterra, a small island country located in the North Atlantic Ocean off of the eastern coast of the United States of America. We are a beautiful vacation destination and 51% Muslim.
@Logan Roof News What? You got a problem with people voting for whatever candidate they want?
Hey guys! I just want to say that Markiplier's niece is gone forever for voting Trump LOL!
Check out Special Message from Miranda's dad for proof
@Cavallo I Awes
"I think steel boils at this temperature."
What an absoloute legend!
Agreed. Peace and love from the Islamic island nation of Bahariterra.
If it’s celsius he’s right
@johjoh ye
“Don’t even bother looting up there, it’s not gonna be worth it” is an underrated line
Hahaha, yes. People from the islands of Bahariterra will get that one.
No use stealing from a corporation if their goods made by stolen labor are melted!! 🤣
Sounds like something a character in an apocalyptic game would say, I guess these would be apocalyptic circumstances.
@longbeing that would make sense. Just funny, especially since ur pfp is quagsire (my favorite pokemon). May or may not have subbed.
@TheNickStrike oh I just watch too much ESclips. We probably watch similar videos, too.
"And, frankly, Wickenburg is a total loss"
the way he just says it so professionally kills me every time 😂
@10 Thirty-One remember he’s not your dad but I’d get the hell out of dodge
@BellaXXI 🤣🤣🤣🤣
“You might as well get out” 😂
_And that's before he even saw the number._
My favorite has got to be when he says with confused intrigue "I think steel BOILS at about this temperature."
“I think steel boils at this temperature” and thus the man wasn’t wrong. Steel boils at 2900F.
Give this man an award.
(Added F. because i forgot that im american and everyone doesnt use the same things.)
@Some Random Gamer what loss?
@Fan of BananaJSSI 🌴 I'm sorry for your loss
Here on the Island nation of Bahariterra we use °F and °C and we have to learn them both.
2900 what? Potatoes?
Now THIS, is what you call good improvisation.
My thoughts exactly!
Much love from the Islamic Island Nation of Bahariterra.
@stalker Indeed, should be raised as high as the temperature did.
I hope he got a raise.
This man's Such a professional. He handled that situation so perfectly.
Yes. Much love from the Secular Islamic Island Nation of Bahariterra.
Were you also summoned by the algorithm?
@59 Master fuck yeah man
Yeah
Kudos to Deer Valley, Glendale, Scottsdale, and Sky Harbor for still existing even when surrounded by heats of 1000+
Living so close to the sun must be interesting
Here on the island nation of Bahariterra, we grow cotton which is much better than in Egypt. It is comparable to cotton from Uzbekistan.
As long as they breath like Egyptian Cotton, they should be fine.
“I think steel _boils_ at this temperature” That line was delivered perfectly.
@Eandvwigle Games
How do you bold comments
@Only Two Shoes Nonsense, the melting point and boiling point are vastly different.
The melting point of gold is 1064 C, but the boiling point is 2800 C.
The melting point is what it takes for a solid to be liquefied, and the boiling point is what it takes for a liquid to turn gaseous, simple.
For steel, it’s actually at around 2900 C for the boiling point. Convert it to your inferior imperial system or whatever. But this bloke wasn’t even close to the number
_testing_
"So don't even bother looting up there... it's not gonna be worth it"
Comedy gold right there.
People here on the Atlantic Ocean island nation of Bahariterra love gold.
save on smelting time
I sayeth to you rivers of gold evaporated milk and honey
There is no gold, it melted
"Don't even bother looting up there" fucking sent me.
The part that got me was his delivery for "Surprise is starting to heat up at 1300 degrees..."
@uncooked ham sending you to cave creek. become cooked ham
@psychopath rob What does that mean?
Having lived in Arizona, I can confirm that this is not a glitch; it does get that hot in Arizona.
Even in Littlefield in the northwestern most corner of Arizona along I-15 it was like 111⁰F in early July, way too hot for me, an Illinoisan, so I went into the big gas station to cool off
@The 36 Lessons Lived in Arizona my whole life, and I still complain. Only at the beginning of summer though, after 2 days of 100+ its business as usual
I lived in AZ my whole life...I am still dumbfounded at how every summer people still complain about how hot it is. I just wish it was scorching all year round so the out-of-staters would stay home. I mean, if you're not a biggun you get used to it, it's not humid at least.
living in a part of mexico, i can also say this isnt a glitch, even in celsius it shows on the summer number of five digits
Looks like a cold snap
"I think steel boils at this temperature"
He's actually correct.
nah bro, iron boils at around 2.862 °C, and so does steel
I love how the weatherman just went on with the forecast despite the obvious errors. He is a legendary man, and deserves a raise
Thanks for the kind words, @TurquoiseStar17! Much appreciated!
Agreed. The way he can keep a straight face all through this is a gift. His co-anchors are losing it in the background, haha.
@Cory McCloskey quite literally 🤣🤣
@JJCyber, it was actually "This is gonna be a BLAST!" LOL
@Cory McCloskey Woah! It's... YOU!
"And frankly, Wickenburg is a loss"
Cave Creek: am i a joke to you?
Cave Creek doesn't exist anymore.
@zman 2004 it’s more than just a loss. He said there’s nothing left in Cave Creek.
Ikr
@PsychoLaw but he never said it was a loss so technically I'm still correct
0:51
The way he said " I'm not your Dad, but I'd get out" got me laughing very hard.
Cory always so damn hilarious all the time. I miss watching his weather forecast every morning. Luv ya Phoenix!!! #IMissYou
Thanks, Lupita! Much appreciated!
Such astounding levels of professionalism and natural speaking when the computer messes up so badly.
He actually made it fun.
This guy didn’t even stutter or pause at all, he carried it out like a champ. Give this man extra pay.
Fr
As someone who is from the Phoenix Metropolitan area, this is completely normal. Why would he stutter or pause at something thats standard, maybe a bit on the cool side for that time of year?
i know right
@iTheman 6s - Truly. 🤣❤️
How the hell did he keep a straight face
Never fails to make me laugh. "I think steel boils at about this temperature" 🤣
I love how he just,,, Goes with it like it's another Tuesday morning, while the other people there are dying behind the camera lol
If he would of just added “It’s a dry heat” , it would have even more perfect 😅
Yeah, if there were a heat index, we'd probaby see the 3000 temperature range!
The way he just went with it and acted like it was completely normal... just 👌
When your weatherman turns into a stand up comedian on air, I'll be sure not to miss the weather report.
When you keep your cool and make people's day with professional sense of humor
More like warm
hehehe COOL
I love how this guy just goes with it and cracks jokes the whole time without losing composure
I love how the weatherman just rolls with the temperatures being totally messed up. A real professional and great at improvising. 🤣🤣🤣
The way he just rolled with it and did not miss a beat makes it all the funnier. 10/10 professionalism.
The weather monitor guys fucked up, so he just rolled with it and decided, 'well, I'm a comedian now'.
@Cory McCloskey The man himself!
@Progeria I met him a while ago at my school, all of the other kids that were arriving from high school math class and I took a picture with him.
@Willy Ames I met this legend at a school event maybe 8+ years ago, either in an Anthem, Apache junction, Humbolt or Payson School. Really cool guy, don’t even live in AZ anymore but it’s cool seeing him every once in awhile on my ESclips of all places. Haha
@Cory McCloskey what in the world is a legend such as yourself doing on youtube
Everyone keeps saying he kept his cool which obviously he needed to, or else he would've boiled to death
‘And frankly, Wickenburg..is a total loss’
My favourite part
Those poor horses 😝
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We need more guys like him around.
I just love how he rolls with it while keeping a fairly straight face.
Most reporters would have just made an excuse to cut to commercial at that point, but this guy just went with the flow! If I were his boss, I'd give him a raise.
@Cory McCloskey you made me laugh bro!
@Jessica Vermillion r/.... 🎶 No one gives a fuck bout youuuu🎶
No you wouldn’t the commercial give them money and not this joke he went with if they cut to commercials then they would have gotten more money
@Cory McCloskey r/quityourbullshit
I love how smoothly he handles this error and transitions into his spiel of jokes.
Love how he just kept on going funny as definitely deserves a pay raise 👌
I don't know how many times I've watched this but I laugh everytime. This dude just delivers this so well that I could actually believe those Temps.
Always makes me smile! 🤓 Thanks Kory!!
It’s funny how he’s casually reporting the temperatures while the people behind the camera are dying of laughter
@slave_no-more# with all due respect, that’s very possible XD
@The Effect of logic thanks for correcting me on that
I apologize for my lack of English skills about a year ago. I have improved over the past year and looking back on how much attention this one comment got it is quite hilarious overall XD
@A thing but in my comment it was a try not to laugh
@TDiamonds23 Ice that's not a plot twist, that's just reality
Even after all of these years this video still gives me a good laugh
The way he just went with the flow is absolutely beautiful.
Just love the way he kept going as if everything was normal. Hope he got promoted the next day. What a legend!
"evacuate the city"
"Engage all defenses"
"And get this man a raise"
“I’m not authorized to evacuate but these temperatures seem *pretty high* ”
Oh yeah just a bit warm
I love how he did not just stand there waiting for it to be fixed, no he played it off as a joke and it was hilarious
This is the definition of "just roll with it".
“Again I’m not your Dad but I would get out while you still can”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love that he just goes with it instead of freaking out.
Yea that’s pretty cool
Hi
Their paid to do that.
The show must go on
How are you doing
Still the funniest thing I’ve seen on a weather report.
Love the way he just so deadpan runs with it.
“Oh yeah, it’s like 2900 degrees, think steel boils at that temperature…so get out whilst you can.”
F-ing gold! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅
I absolutely love how he didn’t just say “hey I think there is something wrong with this”
I love the fact that he’s taking it seriously whilst he creates some humor.
i love how he just plays along with it while barely even cracking a smile
I love how he just accepted it and carried on instead of being like “uh, can someone fix this”
When I worked in local news, the weather man was the one who set up his own graphics, and they were stored on his computer but could be accessed by the main board to put them on the green screen. I’m guessing even if he didn’t feel comfortable rolling with it, there probably wasn’t anyone at his computer to fix the temps before the time for his segment ran out.
0:40 I like how there's a town named "Surprise" with a temp. reading as 1350!😂😂
People there would be like- Well this is a "Surprise"!
We'll do it live!
Ya it’s the news anchor’s job to improvise on the spot
He did very good
This is hilarious, lmao. He handled it perfectly.
This is the best thing ever. I needed a good laugh and did with this one! 🤣🤣🤣thank you
I love how they just play it off and laugh about it instead of freaking out.
He didn't even truly take time to laugh at the numbers, he just enjoyed his day in the office.
"I'm not authorised to evacuate..."
This man is the epitome of true professionalism!
HELLO JOHN O NEILL A GOOD REPORTER FOR MY KINGDOM.
@John O'neill 😄
@Cory McCloskey most welcome! Very sorry for my almost year late reply!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lies again? Carlsberg Phoenix
I love how he being serious about everything he says 💀💀💀
He did so well.. He almost had us believing it ! Give that man a raise !
"i think steel boils at about this temperature so, cave creek, theres probably nothing left up there right now so dont even bother looting up theres its not gonna be worth it" this dude is a legend lmao
I love how he just continues with the weather report
It may be every weatherman's dream to have to describe what the weather is like at normally improbable temperatures. I say improbable because, ya know, nuclear weapons and meteors exist.
"I think steel boils at this temperature."
This guy is just gold. Hope they gave him a raise for not only keeping his cool, but also giving some hilariously good lines.
@electrictroy2010 if he did know then the other people would laugh because they know.
I FEEL like he knew the map was showing strange temperatures before he started the show & decided to just go with it,
@Gopher Baroque Steel boils at 2900C so he's not wrong. He never said which degrees.
That “hope they gave him a raise line” is so fucking cliche
I like how casually he says the temperatures 😂
Also tho, he makes a mistake by saying Wickenburg is a total loss after already acknowledging Cave Creek even though Wickenburg is of a lower temperature.
As someone who lives in Arizona, this is what everyday legit seems like 😂
I love how this guy made it into a joke when he could have just denied it… great improv from a weatherman
please give him a raise, he deserves it. he is so professional even though Cave Creek is 2960 degrees. haha
The best part is that he’s carrying on with a straight face and yet the crew is losing their shit
@Matthew Yeah, y=1/x
@Andrew Driver heard of a hyperbole?
Oof
@Andrew Driver the guy at the end
@Jude Summers They were mild chuckles and they were completely inappropriate, Jude. These peoples homes are burning and they’re laughing about it.
i love how he just treats it casually but slightly jokingly
I love how he just goes with it.
This dude is the definition of going with the flow
As a local of Arizona, this is how my family from Oregon see the weather when they visit in the summer.
He handled that mishap really well. Imagine just tuning in and noticing the map 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As R.E.M once sang "It's the end of the world as we know it" 😂
I looked it up. Steel DOES, in fact, boil at around 2500 degrees Fahrenheit.
How he knew that off the cuff is incredible.
This weatherman was great and hilarious they better raised his paycheck after this performance
As a former steelworker, I can confirm steel would already be melted at 2960 degrees lol.
“I think steel boils at this temperature”
“So don’t even bother looting it’s not worth it”
What an amazing guy.
Yeah, alteast we know why he's an reporter, cuz steel melts at that point, you need immense heat to make a metal boil
jet fuel
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
@medexamtoolsdotcom Looked it up, not quite boiling but it would definitely melt at that temp (1450 Celsius, 2642 Fahrenheit). So he's correct, just with some hyperbole.
_boils_ *
“Surprise is starting to heat up at thirteen hundred degrees”
I literally started dying because that’s not something you hear every day 😂
Thanks, Geek! That one still makes ME laugh!
This dude made my day. Give my dude a raise!
He killed me when he said steel boils 😂
Amazing how he instantly turns into a comedian to cover a system error.
How the hell did he do that with a straight face? The other guy was dying off camera.
@Cole Tynan he makes people in Hollywood feel inadequate like damn he's good
Somehow I get the feeling he's been pranked like this before.
I see what you did there
@Jοhnny Um...no..worse... That wasn't Celsius!!! Fahrenheit!!
I hope this was a prank and not a malfunction
“I believe steel boils at about this temperature “ 😂🤣🤣 And I thought living in Vegas was hot. I hope everyone is doing ok in AZ and didn't disintegrate due to the steel boiling heat😂
This video always makes me laugh. These numbers represent Vegas' summers too, especially this year. We started having July/August temperatures (over 115*F) way back in May. You need to stop hogging the monsoon, we have not had it in years. ☹ Please. 😢
“And I think steel boils at around this temperature” cracked me up.
How one mistake make him famous.Fully respect to weatherman.
Man deserves a raise for carrying this out perfectly even though the people behind the cameras are dying of laughter.
@jepeehisjepepe perfect.
Made ur comment have 666 likes
When you dreamed to become a stand up comendian as a teenager, but life has forced you to tell the weather forecast.
I love when something goes wrong and the reporters have fun with it
The metal boiling, into the looting joke was spot on. Weatherman/stand up works. At least once.
Even if this turned out to be an intentional bit, it's still hilarious & it brings a smile to my face & not just because of the thought of people evaporating. If nothing else, it's one way to make people pay attention to the weather forecast.
Definitely unintentional -- thanks for the kind words!
Reporter: "I'm not your dad, but I would get out. I think steel *boils* at this temperature."
Crew: *wheeze*
@First Name Last Name hahaha 🙄
@Katherine Walker 'ello your computer have virus.
Hello how are you doing
@RainingGiraffes Nah bro it lives on...stupidly enough.
@RainingGiraffes I agree with that statement.
oh man, how many poor druggies were panicking that day? this guy deserves an award and a talk show for not dropping a beat and keeping it 100% real
The improv is just amazing lol Though i am sure we can all agree that this is just the map predicting the summer temps in about 6 weeks
Without a doubt, this was the best weather report I have ever seen on TV in Phoenix. Congratulations for keeping it together while you're giving us the weather. Your weather report was absolutely hilarious!
Kathryn, you're the nicest! Thanks for the kind words! They were 62 fun seconds!
"Don't even bother looting up there, it's not gonna be worth it."
As an Arizonan, I can confirm this is our average temperature
Actually this one was epicly done! The rolling with the punches so to speak.
MUCH better than "Oh a technical difficulty, cut!" at least this way the viewers can get a smile out of it :D
A true professional 😂 I love it!
