Morocco reached the semifinal with the entire defense injured:
Mazraoui, Saiss, Aguerd, Hakimi (who kept playing with an injury) all injured
+ Mazraoui & Aguerd got COVID and were in isolation in the hotel after the Spain game.
The rest of the defense subs got injured during the match vs Croatia and had to leave midgame:
Dari, and Yamiq.
They had to finish the game with Amrabat falling back as a central defender.
Even the midfield had injuries since before wc started:
Ounahi, Boufal, Aboukhlal, Sabiri and Amallah came to Qatar with injuries.
Amarabat kept playing with a back injury (needed corticsteroid shots before the games)
Also they lost 3 key players before the wc who couldn't play:
Amine Harit (striker) , Louza (LB), Tissoudali (striker).

Loooool all Morocco's players play in the world's biggest clubs. Ziyech plays in Chelsea, Hakimi in PSG, Mazraoui plays in Bayern Munich, Aguerd plays in West Ham, Amrabet in Fiorentina, Bono is the best goalkeeper in Spain, even better than Courtois. Bono and Ennesyri both play in Sevilla. Ezzalzouli is a FC Barcelona player, Harit and Ounahi play in Olympique de Marseille in France and so on... In terms of playing in the top 10 clubs, I think Morocco is the best african team with this regard, given its squad.
