Those hands must be like bricks. Give him a title shot now against Usyk or fury. Fury wants a fight in December if AJ don’t want it then it has to be JJ to fight for a title.

Top level fight, both men were on top form, Joseph will do well in the future.

Was surprised with the game plan. Was expecting Parker to come in lighter and box and move. Loading up with every shot from round 1 was never gonna be sustainable against a beast like Joyce who only gets stronger as the rounds go on. Still it made for a great fight!

Joseph has always been a good guy. He’ll dust off and hopefully gain some good momentum. Respectful champion.

He's a true athlete just sees it as a sporting loss doesn't get emotional about things.

I've watched the best in the business fight & I think all credit to Joe he he didn't didn't try & run & he backed box his way off the ropes. He has the height & he has good speed. I think compared to the best he lacks perhaps some variety in his bag . I never saw him use an uppercut effectively, if at all & I have seen the uppercut used by the likes of Riddick Bowe & Lennox Lewis very effectively to often win matches. He has a 1/2 combination however this often left him exposed & he tended to stop with a gap between delivering the 1/2 combinations. What joe joyce's weaknesses were I don't know-whether more body shots would have helped I don't know but I didn't see Joe Parker get him to the point where he looked like he was in trouble. Evander Holyfield had a very effective left which took people by surprise often.

A classy and likeable guy Joseph Parker, he took the defeat like a man. I hope he's made some really good money from the fight game.

Not a good move from his team to come in heavy he lost some elusiveness and gassed early. Having said that put up a brave fight and showed a lot of heart, full respect.

I think he forgot he wasn't in ring when he spat the drink out 😅 he's a cool dude and a great boxer who's respected.

Joseph is just to nice to box, such a great heart and a very nice person. Hope he can get back and not hurt so much.

I don’t care what anyone says after hitting someone like that with your best shots and seeing them barely flinch it must be so demoralising... this is one of the many reasons why this current huge and mature version of Joyce will be so hard to beat... I think the best chance would be someone with heavy fast combinations like the old version of Joshua and just as soon as you see he’s even a little rocked just try to unload so many shots at once, just go for broke and empty the tank in one flurry on him and hope that the ref steps in otherwise I don’t see anyone putting him down and keeping him down!

Parker put on too much weight for the fight, he didn't have his speed, work rate and mobility and he gassed, he was blowing from 3rd round...I actually had Parker ahead for landing the better shots...although he was much more gassed and damaged than Joyce...Parker got his camp all wrong in my view. This is the best performance and best result of Joyce's career...he is strong, relentless and is obviously putting weight and strength behind all his punches...I am gutted that Parker has been stopped. I think Parker can win a rematch, but he can't come in as heavy as he did and needs more cardio and rediscover his mobility and speed, he will still be carrying enough eight and power even if he loses a stone or more. Everyone will struggle with Joyce...but Tyson Fury has the size, mobility and ring savvy....Ruiz has the power and combos, that would be a good fight...Usyk probably has the mobility to beat Joyce on points...but he has improved and cut down the ring well, but Parker was slow and seemed happy to try and pounce from the corner, but he was too gassed to land enough times accurately with effectiveness.

I’m a Brit and wanted Joyce to win but remember, Parker will be Joyce’s age in seven years! He’s still relatively young as a heavy and will have more fights and make more money than Joyce. This was a great match and great to watch. 😊

Gassed from 3rd round....if Parker had been less heavy, his power would have been there from the speed...Watch Parker's earlier fights and how fast and agile he is! Parker needed to have his STAMINA, MOBILITY and SPEED against a guy who is relentless, heavy, big, strong, durable and known for his engine! Parker is either being too nice to his opponents or too nice to his coaches! The right trainer gets Parker to beat everyone.

The kronk style seems to slow fighters down a bit, Probably all the energy going into every punch trying to get the knockout. I can’t see anyone going toe to toe with Joyce, wilder probably wouldn’t be able to put him down.

Once Joyce took his best shots there wasn’t plan B. 2 ways to fight the big man. Parker’s not Roy Jones, if he fights again he has to fight chin on chest inside.

Not sure what more parker can do at world level honestly I think age is catching up. He looked sloppy slow he did land some stunning shots and well timed shots but he used to hunt he looked scared a little to tag and move he wasn't creating chances he waited for them that's not his normal fighting style idk if Andy Lee is the reason or if he's lost mentally a little or if it's just age that was a 75% parker even I'm he's losses he never lost so badly truly I was 51/49 for me I just edged joyce to win I always loved both guys and followed them and honestly that was the true parker look how he faced anyone else worldlevel I don't wanna take away from anyone I am glad joyce won but I did have parker if he turned up as the better boxer I'd have said joyce was the underdog on paper
