Okay from SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE and COMMON SENSE let's go over a few FACTS.
Big Creatures overheat easily + Lot's of volcanoes and high temperatures in the Cretaceous Era = less need for fur let alone feathers(holding back a chuckle!)
All known creatures to date with feathers have wings even if they don't fly e.g. Ostrich and yet even other known creatures like bats DON'T have feathers but fur & patagium(skin membrane) on their wings and they can fly much like the ptera-saur species.(a chuckle just escaped, holding back more!)
Lastly ALL known feathered creatures ever discovered have short tails and a larger portion of long tailed creatures have scales i.e long tails of lengths proportionate to dinosaurs.(I can't help it, bursting with laughter at how silly the feathered dinosaur "THEORY" is, Hahaha!)
