Shocking, some of the worst Tornado destruction Ive ever seen. I'm hoping everyone there had shelter underground or were able to escape.
Most don't have a basement, just a cement slab.
I've never even heard of a mile wide tornado
@The Rambling Creeker El Reno was 2.6 miles wide
💯👍🏾
It's a poor neighborhood, they can't afford a shelter, always the poor that get get hard, just like hurricane Katrina in the poor neighborhood in New Orleans.
We think we have problems ...until we see true devastation like this.
Prayers for the healing of this town and its people.
And may the People Never be sent to one of those 100% human enslavement experiences that are being dubbed as smart cities. Nothing but stack 'em and pack 'em til one dies. Walk to everything in 15 minutes, but can never walk for an hour to get anywhere else either.
Nope. Forbidden.
Land = Self Sustainability = Nope. Forbidden.
@5thRibRoar'Nwas this English?
@Brenton Carter no, it was double wide.
@Wayne Kerr bahahaha damn son
My condolences to the families of the victims. My deepest sympathy to the the survivors. I'm so sorry for your loss.
@North East Slingshot what do you mean
Is that somebody that survives the the?
Could you imagine surviving this. Walking outside the next morning and seeing the destruction? I would go crazy. I would never be the same from this point on. Truly a blessing to make it through this alive. Looks like a warzone.
I have lived through a few Hurricanes like Irma, Opal and Ivan. It is a nightmare and it lasts long after the storm is over.
I cannot imagine. I live in the Middle East during wars, and have never seen anything like this.
@sparrow wren sorry for your bad experiences with Hurricanes. Why don't they build bunkers and shelters, where people can hide?
I am a Houstonian and we had an EF3 on 1/24/2023 with a wind shear of 140 mph or 225 kmh so I don’t have to imagine it, I went through the same experience.
@Camellia M. even then it’s just a very unsettling situation, I mean yeah you are safer but it still can be a “nightmare” as the other comment put it
Being in the middle of a tornado myself, my hope is that all survivors get immediate help.
For those who died, may the families where ever they are, help to bring closure. This news is so sad, but the reality is, it happened. I’m sorry for the loss of loved ones.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by the storm. Be safe everyone ❤️❤️
So dreadful, so emotional. My sincerest condolences to every person in this town.
Looks like Ukraine without government money
😂😂😂😂
Words can not convey how much shock and helplessness these people feel, no electricity, no communications, huge devastation. Been through it, know your pain and suffering my heart goes out to you.
I know exactly what you mean. Total shock.
Yup went through this around 3 months ago and got only like an hour or less of warning that a tornado was bearing down on our city.
So sorry for the loss and devastation of this town. The nation’s thoughts are with you and especially for those who tragically lost loved ones, including any beloved pets.
OMG😮! My thoughts and prayers to the state of Mississippi! Just saw the devasted places all around and the losses of 26 lives and maybe more. My❤ is heavy for all the residents living there in Mississippi. Gods speedy recovery to ya'll out there. Those not living out there in Mississippi please pray for these people. Just thank God that wherever you are thank God that this tragedy doesn't happen somewhere in our state or country because it can! This lets us all know that he is in control(God)at all times no matter where you are. Prayers up for the people and state of Mississippi!😢
Prayers to all those in MS that went through this Tornado. God bless you and your town and citizens!!!🙏🙏🙏
This is so horrible. I'm from Oklahoma so I understand how scary and devastating tornados are. My prayers go out to everybody that lost their loved one's and their homes. My heart breaks for y'all😢
Absolutely devastating
As someone who was hit directly by Hurricane Ian there really no words to describe how these people feel inside who are looking at the destruction the next morning. The best way to describe it is that shock mind numbing feeling the instant you learned a family member died. But by the grace of God and hard work they will recover.
Understand I went through Hurricane Katrina in MS where all was destroyed. It is hard to describe but basically your mind goes blank and you end up in survival mode. Looking for clothes, food and shelter.
FMB or Sanibel? It will take years to rebuild, meanwhile so many who remain homeless.
@Satori I was in Ian too it’s horrific.
Oh gosh!!! Its so sad, so sorry for these people. So sorry...
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever
This is heartbreaking. Godspeed to all affected.
Prayers go out to all the people affected by this tornado.
My heart is broken for these poor people. Praying for all affected by this terrible storm.
My heart goes out to Mississippi
This is so heartbreaking to see--it's a wonder anyone in the area is still alive. Condolences to the families who lost loved ones.
Unbelievable devastation. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this terrible event
Haven't seen the other States.
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever
Yes I thought I did not hear it right about two thousand people gone?
You don't know how powerful tornados are they will mangle your soft body like a pretzel 🥺
What’s amazing is how quickly after the tornado passed that people were there rescuing. Storm chasers and public service professionals.
Heros, one and all.
Words can't describe this horror for these ppl. The heartache and concerns are unbelievable... I wish I could get there to help. I volunteered for Katrina relief right after it hit and was in S. Mississippi as a medical volunteer for 26 days So many good and kind ppl we helped. I am just hurting for these ppl!
After 32 years of being a responder, I don't miss having to assess the damage. The toughest part for me was trying to gently explain to the victims question of "why". In Florida we dealt with hurricanes almost always. This gave us time to load up our vehicles with whatever we could scrounge up, to hand out to those most in need. I'm satisfied for being able to help, although when seeing these it just brings back more bad memories than good ones. God Bless all of the first responders!!
Prayers for the people impacted by this terrible stormI hope they get everything they need to recover as soon as possible.
This is heartbreaking 😢 My heart goes out to everyone affected by the storm 😢😭
Tornadoes like this are "town killers". Small towns like this that have this much damage almost never completely recover. I feel so incredibly sad for all of these people.
That's right. This was also the birthplace of Muddy Waters, the great American blues guitarist.
Certainly is a tragedy for those families with deaths, injuries and structure loss. On the aerial wide angle shots I see plenty of intact houses and other buildings. Across the street to the south of the water tower there's two 2 story wooden homes that are intact. The tornado went by them by maybe 100' looking at Google satellite. The tornado path is fairly narrow which helped most of the town escape. Tornadoes do bizarre things.
There was a tornado outbreak in 1971 that permanently wiped out several towns just down the road from there.
And this is in MS... a state that is poor and a vast majority of the people live at or below the poverty line. Will be surprised if this town ever recovers.
Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him Who sits on the throne, And to The Lamb, forever and ever
Oh my gosh, that storm passed over us in Arkansas. We had a tornado 🌪 warning as well, but it never touched down. God, be with the people who have lost family, friends, and more in this storm last night!!
Sending thoughts & prayers to those affected, love from UK.
For anyone who is wondering, EF4 and EF5 tornadoes are rare. Last EF5 to hit was in Moore, Oklahoma in May 2013. My prayers go out to the victims
What incredible devastation. My heart goes out to these unfortunate people. So sad! 😢
Such sadness & loss. Sympathies to all! My heart aches for everyone there!
I couldn’t even imagine the fear these poor people lived with. I live in Minnesota, and we have had tornados but nothing to this degree. My heart hurts for these people. God be with them.
I'm in Minnesota too. Seeing this I will stop complaining about the snow and ice that just won't leave.
I live in Minnesota too , very sad , pray for people who are in this diaster

My prayers are with the people in Rolling Fork. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The destruction is truly mind-blowing. It looks like houses and cars were just put in a blender and the contents dumped in piles. I can hardly wrap my head around it. How anyone managed to live through that is just beyond me. We are so fortunate that there weren't more fatalities. But now the survivors must cope with losing everything they had and finding some way to start over.
My heart and prayers go out to those in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. I actually cried when I saw the drone video
win shadow Baloney.lol.

I never thought that I would witness , also,on Wednesday, November 30,2022,one hit my tiny community, early a.m. here in Montgomery,Flatwood,we lost a mother and her baby,Dad survived, still wearing arm cast, tree came down trapping him, another trap them in bed,my words when day break came ,I have seen this on TV,but I never thought I would see in person, and not at Home, drive thru daily, one day in February,it hit me ,my community is destroyed, said to self Jerome, will never be the same,we are still healing, cleaning, and supporting each other,so to Our Sisters and Brothers in the Mississippi area I know your pain, stay as strong as possible, you will cry, shake your head, give thanks to God,this too shall pass, Ecclesiastes,3rd chapter, please read
