i would love to see more updates on this house renovations. this is incredible to see how much work is involved. i like watching the process and learning so many things along the way. Like how to do things when you are alone.

I’m so gonna need to see more of this building project. The young man working so hard is seriously talented. That house is going to be stronger than it was the first time! Is there anything this young man can’t do. If I could I’d hire him in quick minute.

Thank you for sharing this amazing man's journey! I hope you can update more in the future. It's a wonderful thing his parents held on to the old traditional house. Look at the surrounding buildings, they look so impersonal, they are just dwellings, this is a home. And he is keeping history from being forgotten. The kid giving him a back massage was endearing...if they are his children, what an amazing dad they have! He did it almost entirely alone, and with the barest amount of tools. Wow. I'm sure many young Chinese people will be inspired by this kind of videos. This one in particular, if compared to others, shows real craftsman skills...the house will stand for a long time after his renovation for sure.

I thought it was wonderful that you are renovating your family home. You do have some awesome carpentry skills and raising the roof was a great idea. I was amazed watching you work and your technique and skill with the chainsaw to make everything fit so perfect together. Thank you for sharing all that you did so far. I can only hope that somewhere down the line you will be sharing more of your progress in your renovation. But I wish you well and stay safe with this renovation.☺☺

When a structure is held together with mud, it will melt over time. Slathering on new mud will slow the decline a bit.
