Finding out Tyler never worked at Buzzfeed felt like a Mandela Effect moment.

So, I lived in Portland for a while and Voodoo used to have truly bizzare flavors. They didn't last but they tried for a bit Pepto Bismal, and Nyquil I wasn't there but they lasted for a month. My favorite doughnut of theirs is Mango Tango.

Currently in Santa Rosa, CA which is going through the worst wildfires in Northern California. This video made me cheer up and have a smile for a while. Please keep Sonoma County and Napa in your thoughts because so many people had little to no time to evacuate and many houses and buildings have burned to the ground. Whole neighborhoods are gone. 💜

I'm from Portland, so I've definitely been to Voodoo Donuts more than a few times. Usually around 1am, to avoid the lines...Although sometimes there's still a pretty long line. My personal faves are the Ol' Dirty Bastard (chocolate-frosted raised donut with crushed oreos and a PB swirl) or anything cream-filled, like the phallus-shaped donut. (I don't think I can say the name here without my comment getting flagged, lol).

Mango Tango and The Dirty Old Bastard are my favorites from Voodoo. Although Voodoo is really only where you go for the theme/kitsch factor. They tend to be incredibly sweet, more than needed. They're donuts aren't really worth getting if you just want a good donut. If you ever get a chance to try Blue Star donuts go for it. They're tasty and they also have fun ones. The Cointreau Creme Brulee comes with a little squeeze thing of Orange Liqueur.
