Damn, I was led here because I heard from Reddit that DH P2 was cut to obtain a PG-13/12A rating. God, why the hell am I so gullible?

Ok I used to like David Yates until I found THIS dirt. It turns out the originally filmed Malfoy manor scene was MUCH longer and more violent. Hermione was tortured more intensely. So why film it at all if they were just gonna cut it out? Talk about getting fans exctied for nothing. I'm seriously pissed off, that scene was supposed to be much longer, and to me it was rushed through. David yates, you are NOT loyal to the books! RELEASE those scenes!

He ruined Harry Potter, everything from his pretentious "Kubrick" shots, to the humourless atmosphere, Harry Potter on the big screen died the second this idiot touched it.

I think David Yates did magnificent job with Deathly Hallows. I was so afraid Prince's Tale wouldn't be perfect...but it was perfect....

David yates does not deserve the title of director, more like a book wrecker if anything.
